Language for real conversations

Teachers from the Global South

Made for a mobile life

A language centre for the life around the lesson

Grammar matters. So does knowing how to belong.

Lerlan begins from a simple idea: when you move countries, language is never only vocabulary. It is confidence at work, friendship at dinner, humour, care and the everyday choices that help a place become home.

The Lerlan way

Learn what helps you live, not just pass a level.

Our pilot will be designed around your real context: a move, a new job, a relationship, a school community or a country you want to understand more deeply.

01

Life-first learning

Lessons grow from the conversations, choices and moments you actually need to navigate.

02

Culture is part of the language

We make room for context, identity and the unspoken rules that shape communication.

03

Connection over extraction

We learn with teachers whose knowledge and lived experience matter — not as an afterthought.

Start where you are going

Three languages. Many ways of moving.

The first Lerlan cohorts will explore English, Portuguese and Spanish in formats shaped around real mobility.

EN

For study, work and everyday confidence

Global English

Communicate clearly across cultures without losing your own voice.

PT

For life in Brazil and Lusophone worlds

Português

Build the language and cultural ease to participate, not simply arrive.

ES

For connection across the Spanish-speaking world

Español

Find your footing in relationships, work and daily life across regions.

A pilot with room to grow

Come into Lerlan from the place you are standing.

We are inviting early interest from the people who can help this become a better, more connected centre.

Lerlan Stories

Built from real routes, not generic levels.

The Lerlan pilot starts by listening to the people who move, teach and make home across cultures. These are the conversations that will shape what we build next.

01

A new country is more than a new vocabulary list.

For the work conversations, friendships and everyday moments that make a place feel possible.

02

Knowledge travels with the teacher, too.

We are creating room for educators from the Global South to bring their language, context and way of seeing.

03

The pilot is a first chapter, not a finished script.

Your questions and lived experience help us create a more thoughtful global language centre.

How the pilot begins

Small enough to listen. Serious enough to build.

  1. 01

Tell us what you are moving towards

Share your language, context and hopes through a short interest form.

  2. 02

    We shape the first cohorts

We use those conversations to design the right 1:1 and small-group starting points.

  3. 03

    We learn the model together

The pilot grows carefully, with feedback leading every next step.

Where Lerlan can go next

Language is the beginning of a larger conversation.

In time, Lerlan aims to develop cross-cultural learning for international schools and globally minded communities — including thoughtful programmes for young people navigating international education.

We are not promising a finished institution. We are inviting the first people into its formation.
